Notes

The Bjelke Peterson National Party and Liberal Party coalition government was replaced by a Bjelke Peterson National Party minority government on 19 August 1983. After the election of 22 October 1983, two former Liberal Party ministers joined the National Party to give the National Party a majority in the Legislative Assembly (Hughes 1986, 8).
