Notes

Prime minister at election: McEwen became prime minister of a Country Party Liberal Party coalition on 19 December 1967 after the disappearance of Holt while swimming at Cheviot beach. Gorton became prime minister of a Liberal Party Country Party coalition government on 10 January 1968.
